????They will send you to collections for $400 cancellation fee if you MOVE!!!! And the salesman didn't keep his phone number! I TOLD salesman I might move SOON and that I wouldn't want service after the move and that I would not want a cancellation fee obviously if the reason is me moving. He said no problem.Unreasonable for the salesman to not state the higher than normal $400 cancellation fee and the insane requirements to show proof of move, in order for him to try to make a quick sale.Most other places have a $250 cancellation fee and only need a rental agreement no matter if it says nothing about pest control.Since sales people change every few months, Alta refuses to make sure to get a hold of the sales person who sold it to me because they don't keep in contact apparently with their salesman, so anything the sales person says MEANS absolutely nothing because if the person doesn't work there still then they won't honor your word.When I did move, come to find out I had to meet criteria by providing my rental agreement and it has to state that the owners don't allow me to have Pest!?!?!Plus my bill was $90 EVERY month!!!! By a more reasonable company (not Alta), I was later quoted $45 with literally the same services included.Even though the salesman knew that that is something I could not pay and that I would not pay and that that's absolutely terrible just because the salesman wants to make a sale.
Last year we had raccoons living inside the house. We had lots of fleas in the house. We suffered from fleas bites. Sometimes it’s hard to make an appointment during last summer. After several treatments, it seems all of fleas gone. I deeply appreciate the company did their job.Today the technician Mark Harkins came did the very detailed work. He sprayed all the baseboards of house and removed the wasp nests. He also cleaned the debris of the nests from window sill. I hope he can work on our property in the future.I will stay with this company and recommend them to other families if you have pest problems.
Your technician was top notch. I allowed him to perform his services, but noticed that the back porch (due to things I had around the perimeter) hadn’t been treated. My neighbor was getting her treatment done at the same time, so I asked him if I moved the things blocking would he please treat by the back door, and porch perimeter. He quickly replied sure and because I asked about treating while it was still ice on the ground If it would reduce the potency he resprayed the whole home perimeter. He seemed very knowledgeable and willing to serve.
Spent almost $3,000 on a termite system.The first time I asked for them to come service it they didn’t show up.When I called and spoke to a manager I was told “well you told the scheduler you were available all day every day this week”I said “…yeah at the time I made that appointment. And then the next day I was told you would be here at 9am”Then she saw where someone told me that they would here at 9am ??I was promised a call back after she spoke with them to see if they could move the schedule around.An hour later I had to call back. She told me she was just sending a message to follow up with them…If that was me as the manager I would have called someone until I got the person I needed to talk to to fix the issue but I guess that’s just me.I was promised another call back which I didn’t get.I called a third time and because the employee who answered didn’t like that I didn’t want to speak to him and I wanted to speak to a manager he put me on hold for 8 minutes before I hung up and called back this time INFURIATEDHow I wish I could have this system uninstalled, refunded, and go with a different company.I don’t have the kind of time in my life to sit around and wait for people to show up especially after spending 3 freaking grand.Update: on my fourth and fifth calls I spoke to a very helpful agent and a very helpful manager named North.He wasn’t able to get someone out in the time frame I had availability but they compensated services for a couple of months. And North made a commitment to follow up with me if I wasn’t home in time before they arrived to let me know how everything looked.I was able to meet with the 2 people Mason and Preston who came out and were VERY nice, as well as thorough in checking my stations.Updated to 4 stars from 1 star
We have been extremely disappointed with Alta since we first signed up until today. We had the pleasure of working with Frank, and he completely changed our experience. For the first time, I felt heard, cared for, and genuinely supported.Frank was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense. He treated our home as if it were his own and showed real concern for the issues we’ve been dealing with. He finally put out the rodent box we’ve been paying for, placed sticky pads to help detect activity, and made sure every concern was addressed.It was refreshing to work with someone who is not only skilled but also a truly decent human being.Don’t know if it’s possible, but if it is, we would love for Frank to service our home for the rest of our contract. Highly recommend requesting him!
