Reviews highlight professional, thorough technicians who explain services and provide photos on some visits. Customers also report concerns about short appointment times, unclear pricing changes, and limited communication after service. Scheduling responsiveness is generally noted as quick, but consistency between visits varies. Many rate the service highly, while a portion cite expectations versus actual treatment scope.
I’ve had Aptive for about a year and a half. The service is hit or miss. After this last treatment today, I’m done with this company. Between poor service, scheduling me when I’m not even due for a spraying, etc.I wasn’t home when they came today. They didn’t appear to stay very long from what I saw on my cameras. I don’t think they did a good job. I also didn’t receive any feedback from them as to what they did. I’m ready to cancel. I’m not paying for this anymore. I’m done with Aptive.*Update: I canceled my entire account and couldn’t be happier to never pay this clown company another dollar.
Tech was unable to treat the inside bc his indoor sprayer "broke" at the last appointment. I also just noticed a price increase that I was not made aware of last visit and just noticed this visit. Considering cancellation. There is a huge bait and switch from the door to door salesperson that promises they will treat the whole yard for one price, then they stop treating the whole yard and only treat 10 feet out from the exterior. Was told they don't treat interior, then in the end they actually do when their sprayers work. Was given an intro price that went up by 30 or 40 bucks, then called to cancel and was given a better rate...for two treatments, then an increase occurred without warning or disclosure. My card is auto charged, so hard to notice it if I was not paying attention! They also often try to book me in a shorter time than the 3 month agreed upon booking schedule, resulting in 5 treatments per year which costs more than anticipated.EDIT - received an immediate phone call after my survey response. They are doing a re-treat of the interior tomorrow, made good on their pricing promise, and have added notes to spray the entire yard for ants instead of just 10 feet like they have been doing. Earned a 2nd chance at my business. 2 stars changed to 4 stars.
Xavier, was great help today he explained everything he was going to spray my home with inside and out for flees. He done a great job. Thank you Xavier! I also want to Thank Magen for taking my call yesterday and explaining all the things they spray for and on setting me up this quick for my service. I feel much much better this got done this quick !
This was the first visit but so far so good. The technician was professional at all times. Explained everything and made sure any questions I had were answered. I asked him to check on an area in particular for wasps. Which he gladly did and took care of as well. He was on time and provided a complete detail with pictures of all he did and their prices are very reasonable.
We contracted for general external pest control around the exterior of our house and outbuildings. Today a tech came out and spent 5 minutes supposedly doing that. He forgot to do our shed, nor did he inspect the property for other signs of infestation. He texted pictures of the house but not of him spraying anything. The bill for this? $147.22. Even if I’m generous and say he was here 15 minutes that puts their hourly rate at $588.88 per hour. Called their call center to cancel the service and get a refund 4 times. Customer service skills of their managers are abysmal. They interrupt, fight, explain their “policies” but service is not their forte. They refused the refund but, we stopped payment with our credit union. I cannot recommend them for anything other than annoying you and providing a headache.
