I'm disappointed with the services provided and feel they did not do what was outlined and promised by the sales rep.The sales rep said if an application didn’t work or produce results I could call back for an additional application under warranty work, which I did. Instead of warranty work, they applied a full charge to my credit card for the second visit, another $ 210.00.At the time of the agreement, I had discussed that I would not want any chemicals sprayed inside my house. Now, because I don’t want chemicals sprayed inside my house and also see no need for the exterior application to be done in January and in the middle of winter, they want me to prepay $ 210.00 months in advance for services later in the spring.I feel misled; they would not come back and respray for bugs as was initially offered, they charged for a full 2nd visit even though I had called back because the initial application did not work.Now they are asking for payment way in advance of services provided.After 1 phone call and two emails I received a call from Jay (not sure if he's the owner) to discuss and had decided to cancel my contract, right away they charged another $ 210.00 to my credit card for cancellation.This has been a disappointing experience with this company and would not recommend Insight Pest Solutions to anyone.
A perfect example of why door-to-door sales can be a hoax. We hired these yahoos to combat a vole problem in our backyard and the contract was to provide 4 treatments to solve the problem WITH A CONFIDENT GUARANTEE. $640! The website states: “If you are not satisfied we will make it right at no additional cost.” HA! They placed 3 boxes in our yard and as a bonus there was some insect treatment to prevent spiders from coming in to the basement. Not only did the snack-boxes not work, the consumption increased over time (are we now feeding more voles?!) When we contacted the team who has in no way solved the problem, we were told that your "guarantee" is only valid for 3 months after the last treatment (?!) Huh?! I was also told that voles are tricky and to make us happy they could not come for free but charge us an additional fee to come back and try again…but that one treatment probably wouldn’t help?! We refused to pay any additional fee to have you attempt to correct our existing (and arguably worsened) problem.
My second service with Insight and they sent Ben (young Filipino man) and his customer service skills were top notch. I would highly recommend calling and asking for Ben to do your service work on your yard. He is a hardworking individual. See you in early October Ben.UPDATE: Oct 31 2025, just had another inspection by Insight. The gentleman is SHAH and he was also another thorough individual inspecting my exterior's condition for vermin etc and made some good recommendations and suggestions. Lesha and insight do an awesome job. We live on an acreage and since the pest control I have found dead bugs and mice around the property. Don’t get a cat for mice, the insight bait boxes work wonders. My shop and house have been protected and I no longer have pest issues.
