I hired Orkin Canada on June 14, 2025 for pest control service. The total charge was $472.50, which I had no issue paying. This was my first pest control experience. I clearly explained that I was seeing spiders and snowbugs in my home. I was assured the treatment would be effective and that results could take up to 90 days.Because we have an infant at home, we followed their evacuation requirement and stayed elsewhere for two days for safety while the treatment was completed.The technician called after finishing the service and gave prevention tips. I followed every instruction carefully — including installing mesh over inlet and exhaust openings to prevent re-entry.However, just three weeks later, I found live spiders and snowbugs in the basement again. I documented the issue with photos and contacted the technician requesting a follow-up visit.On July 7, he replied saying he would have the office contact me to schedule a second visit.No one ever contacted me.Then on September 11, 2025, I was contacted by an AR collector stating I had an outstanding balance. I explained the entire situation and clearly stated that I was disputing the charge because the service did not resolve the issue and no follow-up was provided as promised. I was told the matter would be forwarded to the local branch.Again — no response.Then suddenly, on February 25, 2026, I received a final notice threatening to send the account to collections and impact my credit score if payment was not made.Let me be clear:I have to pay for a service that did not resolve the issue.I requested a follow-up within the 90-day effectiveness window.I was ignored.Instead of honoring their service commitment, they escalated to credit threats.This is extremely disappointing customer service.I am not refusing to pay arbitrarily — I am disputing the quality and completeness of the service delivered.For a company of this size, the complete lack of follow-up and immediate move toward collections is unacceptable.I would strongly caution others to document everything carefully if using this company.I sincerely hope someone from Orkin Canada reviews this case and resolves it properly instead of threatening customers over a service that was never completed as promised.

I do not know what is going on with this company. This is the second year I have hired them. The first time I had a service man come to take care of the Ant problem, the second time they sent a fantastic lady. She lifted small bricks that the previous service man hadn't done and found nests upon nests of Ants. Her name is Grace, she represented the company well, and they are lucky to have her.In year two, Grace came once. I eventually called, as I noticed no one was showing up to complete the service I paid for. When I called the office, the lady I spoke to said I fell through the cracks. Since then, I have called several times and have never received a call back. One of the times, I was told they would check with Grace and get back to me. No call, I called again some days later, only to be told by the person who took my call that she would check with her manager, and the manager would call me back in two hours, as she was in a meeting. I am still waiting!!I would request a refund for the unfinished work I paid for. Something is seriously wrong with how this office is run. I am sorry to lose Grace. Hopefully, I can find another good company, Orkin certainly is not. I will be informing my gardener, who recommended Orkin to me in the first place.Thank you,Josephine Davy-Seetal

It’s unclear how these clowns have such high ratings. They service our building in Calgary, 9100 Bonaventure Dr.The building has been infested with cockroaches for about five years now. And it’s a severe infestation. They get called in every two weeks, but it’s absolutely useless. The problem has been there for five years and nothing has changed.I would think twice before hiring this company.
