This used to be Standard Pest Control but is now Orkin. I have been trying over a month now to have them cancel the contract and to pick up their pest control boxes. They no longer answer the phone nor respond to email. I contacted Orkin Canada down east who advised they would have the Calgary manager contact me. Guess what? Same response I have heard nothing. I will not be using Orkin in the future due to this inadequate service

Excellent knowledge, prompt service and great dependability. Living next to a ravine once HAD its drawbacks as far as voles munching our grass roots and making tunnels. No more voles! Also south facing large window areas were attracting insects, but again no more! Sandy soil had many ant hills and living with the red biting kind while gardening was very annoying. Ants now well controlled while leaving bees and other beneficial insects to help in the garden. Chris has many years experience and a good solution to every problem. Standard was recommended to me by a friend. So far the service and friendliness of staff has been very good.My main objective for hiring them for pest control is the Vole damage my lawn receives every winter. As this will be my first winter with them I will find out in the spring when the snow melts if it has been effective.Update-first year in the past 14 years that I had no Vole related damage on my lawn upon snow melting.
