Jonathan is always very pleasant to interact with as well as informative when it comes to answering any questions I might have…and I always have questions! We discovered what turned out to be an infestation of powder post beetles in fireplace oak mantle beam that had been dormant for 6 years before they burrowed out! Our regular exterminator identified but didn’t treat for them and recommended Orkin. Jason and Alex met with us, explained the treatment process and came back the following week to do the work, which was fairly simple. They were friendly, professional and respectful of our home. We look forward to no further problems.

Update: To contact corporate you need to fill out a form. I did that 3 days ago, no response. Listen to their hold message about how they "care" about the customer. Next up chargeback, BBB, legalWhere is Jim? (Property Destroyed)(1) Called Orkin for ants in the house, was told I need about 1000 worth of treatments over several months (before they even came to the property) Later the honest kid that was here told me I only needed 2.(2) I was outside when they were spraying, and saw them spray some areas around some landscape edging. Several days later when I took my dogs out, one of them yelped. I looked down to find a 4" pieces of rusted metal. When I looked across 20 feet of edging the entire top half had completely corroded. As this is the only path my dogs take, I was forced to spend several hours picking out pieces of rust from the gras and landscape pebbles in the dark. Pretty much ruined my entire night. I then had to remove the jagged rusty pieces that were left, by wedging them out with a shovel. Then of course all of the white pebbles poured onto the lawn causing a never ending mess.(3) emailed Jim (the branch manager that is on the bill I paid instantly when the job was complete. I gave Jim several days to respond. There has still been no response a week later . More on that later.(4) Called Orkin, and was told Jim was off for a 4 day weekend. I was further told Jim would call me the next day at 11am. Where's Jim? No call from Jim. I called back in and the excuse was, the girl that was supposed to tell Jim had called out.(Orkin must be a small company still working with posted notes) I waited for Jim to come to the phone, nope they put Dee on the phone. Dee told me she would visit the property.(5) Dee put me in a 3 hour time window where I had to sit around the house and wait. I called in at 1:30 and was told they couldnt narrow it down,(probably the walkie talky batteries were low) so I waited all day for Dee. Dee arrived, seemed receptive, then as we were walking off the property, she pointed out that it was surprising that the the chemicals didnt cause the "powder coated" fence to rust. This fence was 3 times the distance from the house as the landscape edging. and as Dee knows Orkin sprays 3-5 feet from the home. The fence was about 16 -20 feet. This was yet another clue I was being blown off . The next clue was when Dee said, it is strange that the fence didn't get damaged when they sprayed for "mosquitos" Of course they sprayed for ants, but whatever.(6) Dee then told me "Where's Jim" would look at the pictures and get back to me by Friday. Welp, ole Jim that was a no go. Even after I explained to Dee, how much of a pain this has been to deal with. I guess they are doing more extensive damage elsewhere that you have to wait for ole Jim to look at a couple pictures for 3 days.(7) Next up will try and get hold of corporate again, the good ole gang at Jims has refused to give me their number 3 times, and when you Google it, and call the number you get redirected back to your local branch. After that , it is on to the BBB, then the lawyer.(treble damages are now in play)Update:Corporate called, and said they would come out, never did. Then sent techs to service while I was away and billed me. Then we caught a tech on property and kicked them off. AND STILL they tried to sneak out and service the property again. This is th most disgusting company in the world. Let this serve as notice as I told customer support if you step on my property I will treat you as a trespasser attempting to steal from me.Update: Looks like 3 weeks ago management posted the "if you are open to discuss this " message. About 3-4 months after I posted the review and attempted to contact them and was laughed at, and then promised by corporate they would send someone out. Im good keeps your chems!!
I give Orkin 5 stars bc I tried a lot of over-the-counter products to get rid of my flea problem but nothing was working. I lost funds purchasing product that was not working. I made one phone call to Orkin and they provided me affordable pricing. The Representative was very friendly and made sure I had all information needed to better prepare. I did not have to wait long for the Technician to arrive. The Tech was on time, very professional, and easy to work with. Orkin is slowly but surely resolvjng my flea issue. I am no longer living in great agony regarding a flea infestation. Thank you Orkin.
