I thought that we had bedbugs, so I called Bed Bug BBQ and spoke to Dan. I found them after doing a Google search to identify what the bug was that I saved in a jar. After sending the photo of what I had, they said it was not bedbugs. It was carpet beetles. What a relief! That was short-lived after Discovering that it was going to be a process to get rid of them. I CAN’T TELL YOU HOW GRATEFUL I AM to find an HONEST company that actually helped me. THEY SAVED ME A LOT OF TROUBLE!Thanks to Dan!
This review is long overdue, but very well deserved.I worked with Bed Bug BBQ last summer, and this was my first experience ever dealing with bed bugs. From day one, they treated me like family. They took the time to educate me, answered every question thoroughly, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure I understood what I was dealing with and how to effectively get rid of it.My situation turned out to be very rare and unusually complex, which meant the process took longer than expected. Throughout the entire experience, Bed Bug BBQ stayed with me every step of the way. Their patience, support, and commitment never wavered — and I truly could not have gotten through it without them. What says the most to me is that even other bed bug companies were recommending Bed Bug BBQ, which speaks volumes about their reputation and expertise. So far, I am very happy with the results and extremely grateful for their knowledge, professionalism, and dedication. If you’re dealing with bed bugs and want a company that genuinely cares and knows what they’re doing, I would absolutely recommend Bed Bug BBQ.
I talked to Chris on the phone and he had me do a video chat and send pictures to him about a possible issue, and then told me that he didn’t see any issues. Yet he still followed up by driving from Lakewood to Sandusky and inspected my home to be certain free of charge. What a relief! Chris was professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Thank you for your help!
These guys are the definition of going above and beyond.I hired Bed Bug BBQ to heat treat my moving truck between apartments, out of an abundance of caution. I'd had issues at my old address, and while I was cleared of pests at the time of my move, I wanted to be absolutely positive I didn't bring anything with me.First, they helped me save a fair amount of money and peace of mind by recommending I treat the truck instead of my apartment, as I could get everything heat-treated without risking re-infestation from neighboring units, and heating a truck is often half the price of heating a home or apartment.Second, everyone was incredibly friendly and compassionate. I think I called Vicki every day or every other day for two weeks, asking what could and couldn't be heat treated, as I have a number of delicate collectibles I didn't want damaged that aren't on their standard lists of "things not to put in the heat." Vicki was incredibly patient, even going out of her way to do extra research to be sure I was treating everything I could while saving anything delicate from damage.Chris also went out of his way to help me out. I am disabled, and cannot drive, and thus had to hire a driver for my moving truck. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I lost my driver halfway through the day. My original plan had been to drop the truck off at Bed Bug BBQ in the evening on day 1, have them heat it first thing in the morning, and come back in the afternoon day 2. When I called Chris in tears to explain about the situation with my driver, he said he lived nearby and could come in as late as 9pm so I could drop my truck off. When I called him back later to explain that even that was not possible, he rearranged his and his team's busy schedule to have one of his technicians drive across town to my address to pick up the truck!!! At no extra cost to me!!!! This is really not part of their standard service, and I would advise future customers not to expect this specific benefit, and instead take it as an example of the lengths Chris and his team will go to to make things work out for you.I'm still unpacking, but so far nothing has been damaged from the heat, there's no bugs, and I finally get to feel safe in my home again for the first time in two years. I hope I never have to book bed bug treatment again, but if I did, I'd book it with them.
A tenant called stating they were getting bit and she had a picture of a bug. Called and Vicki was very compassionate and patient and informative. I sent the picture and she confirmed it was a bed bug. Set an appointment for inspection with Chris. He came out and completed inspection - very thorough and knowledgeable. He did NOT find any evidence of bed bugs. He was honest and did not try to sell us a service we did not need. Gave us peace of mind. Very appreciative.
