I am writing this review because I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with this company’s practices. Their high rating is misleading and, in my experience, only accurate when nothing goes wrong.As a new customer, the service was excellent. My questions were answered promptly, I was accommodated easily, and payment was taken without issue. At that stage, everything felt professional and reassuring. However, once bed bugs were discovered after treatment, the experience deteriorated completely.One thing prospective customers should know immediately: this company operates with two phone lines—one for new clients that is answered immediately, and one for existing clients that requires leaving a message. Once you have paid, responsiveness changes dramatically.The initial treatment was booked for a weekend and completed. Three weeks later, bed bugs were discovered. I contacted the company on a Monday to book follow-up treatment. I accept responsibility for initially misunderstanding that they had scheduled me for a Thursday/Friday setup; however, I notified them immediately that this would not work. The property has two rental suites occupied by students, and displacing both households for two weekdays was not possible.I was told no other options were available. Shortly afterward, I received two confirmations for Thursday and Friday. Believing this indicated flexibility, I accepted Friday and began preparing in good faith. I took time off work, coordinated with my tenants, and fully prepared the property.By Wednesday morning, I still had not received clear confirmation. I called at 8:30 a.m., missed one return call at 9:30 a.m., returned the call at 10:00 a.m., and did not hear back again until after 3:00 p.m. At that point, I was told I had “misunderstood” and that no accommodation would be made.I explained that plans were already in place and asked if anything could be done. I even offered to assist with setup or meet the technician on Saturday to reduce their workload. Every request was refused.I then asked to book another weekend. Only at that point was I told that during “slow months” the company does not offer weekend service. This restriction is not disclosed anywhere on their website. In fact, their marketing explicitly criticizes other companies for not offering evening or weekend service—yet they themselves were unavailable through the end of November and even into the new year.The company made no effort to find a solution that worked for all parties. As a result, I contacted my credit card company. They agreed that I paid for bed bug eradication, and since bed bugs remained, the service was incomplete. A chargeback was issued, and I hired a different provider.What is most upsetting is what happened next. The company contested the chargeback and provided inaccurate information, stating they do not operate on weekends—despite both their website and Google business profile indicating otherwise. This dispute dragged on for three months, requiring extensive documentation. Although the charge was briefly reinstated, I continued to push back. Ultimately, the credit card company ruled in my favor and released my funds.Here is what I want future customers to understand:This company is helpful only if bed bugs are fully eliminated after the first treatment.If problems arise, flexibility and accountability disappear.If you initiate a chargeback because services were not completed, do not give up. Persistence matters.I hired a second company who accommodated my original requested Friday appointment on short notice. While their process required significantly more work (including washing all linens and clothing), the results speak for themselves. After completing extensive preparation—17 large bags of laundry—there have been zero bed bugs for over two months.Saving money is not worth this level of stress, disruption, and dishonesty. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and choosing a provider that stands behind their service when it matters most.
What excellent service we received today from Tyler..from We Clean Pest Control Edmonton.He came as scheduled, was friendly, informative and super nice.He explained what happens with these mice and there habits. Assured me if we have any questions we could call and he will gladly guide us through. Discovering bed bugs was traumatizing to our whole household! NEVER thought we’d have to deal with it. This company was THE BEST! They were out within the week we called. Tyler was so friendly and helpful, the prep was quite easy as was the whole process!! I highly recommend the heat treatment!! I can not say how much I appreciate this company and especially Tyler! And within 24 hours the whole nightmare was behind us!!
We made an urgent call and they had Tyler come out the very next evening. He was very knowledgeable, patient with our house full of animals, and did a thorough job of inspecting our house and educating us. Tyler was very professional and personable and reassured us we were taking the right steps to get rid of our pest problem. We will definitely call again if needed.
Fast and efficient! Tyler spent lots of ample time in my home closing gaps and setting out traps for my little creatures that wanted to move in! If you are experiencing problems with mice or any other pests I recommend this company! If there was a 10 star I would be giving them that. Thanks again Tyler!
