I do not recommend Pest Tech. While their process is the same as others, they do not accept responsibility for damage. They destroyed ornamental shrubbery and left my gate unhinged. When I complained, no compensation, no apology.

We prepped our house three separate times for tenting over three months, and the tenting was cancelled for high winds three times. On the fourth attempt the tenting and treatment was finally done. However, they broke a number of tiles, damaged our copper gutters when they leant the ladders against them, and damaged the stucco on the support columns when they tied rope around them. When I submitted photos of the damage, they said because I signed a waiver they were not responsible for any of the damage. Breaking a few tiles could be expected. However, the other damage was totally avoidable.

My experience with Pest Tech was horrible! I would have rather taken my risk with termites over the damage they caused to my property. They caused thousands of dollars of damage to my roof, broke light fixtures, and killed expensive shrubbery! Their sales team talks the talk but their actual technicians look and act like they came straight from prison. Pest Tech was unwilling to fix the damage they caused and was extremely unprofessional.

I first reached out to Pest Tech after looking around for a company to tent for termites. We have been in our home nine years and were overdue. I had seen the owner, Ian, on a real estate You Tube informational vlog and was impressed with the expertise and information he shared. I was also very impressed with the office staff and especially with Zara, whom I cannot speak highly enough of. I was very close to signing with Terminex before calling Pest Tech. However, after seeing the You Tube segment by Derek Okahashi, in which he interviewed Ian, I decided to give them a call.

I was impressed. AND, after we set up an initial date for tenting AND for initial quarterly service, I put Pest Tech through the paces...We needed to be careful with the solar panels, I didn't want the Puakenikeni tree affected, please don't disrupt the plants near the house. AND we had to change dates at least twice due to complications with our construction schedule and the availability of the house we were going to stay in with our pets. They were willing to set up my initial quarterly service the same day as my tenting so that the animals and I did not need to vacate on two separate dates.

Zara and the office staff dealt with my nervous first time tenting woes very professionally and with empathy and worked very hard to accommodate all of my concerns. Zara stopped by several times at a moment's notice to inspect and look at areas we were finding termites as we were pulling up hardwood floors infested with them. I cannot speak highly enough of their team, and specifically of my rep, Zara, who listened patiently and worked diligently to protect all that we were concerned about with a smile and an empathetic attitude.

I highly recommend Pest Tech and we are now using them for quarterly pest control. Five stars all the way!

Shane was very informative and helped my mom with the fumigation and ground treatment estimate. My mom is 87 and she had many questions and concerns and she needed him to explain some things multiple times and he was very patient and understood she couldn't hear well.

While the price quoted wasn't the cheapest, I could tell by the way Shane explained everything, that this company stood behind their work and would provide great service which is why I chose Pest Tech over the others.

This was confirmed by the excellent job the fumigation crew provided as I took the day off from work so I could watch them as they covered my house. I think the person in charge was Corey? He was very nice and I could tell the workers really cared.

I highly recommend Pest Tech Hawaii to all my friends and neighbors!
