Due to scheduling conflicts on my end, we had to have the outside and inside of our home treated for mice separately. Mason did an excellent job on the outside of our house and even went into our cellar, which is a pain to access. Ricky and his colleague came today to take care of the inside of our home and were incredibly kind and professional, even though our house was a mess. We really appreciate the service and finally have some peace of mind after months of struggling with mice. Reasonable pricing, and excellent communication. Would highly recommend to anyone in the metro area.

We’ve been loyal customers of Valor Pest Solutions for over a year now and use their premium quarterly service. We originally started with Valor because of a carpenter ant problem, and they took care of it quickly and thoroughly. Since then, we’ve had peace of mind knowing our home is protected from everything — ants, spiders, rodents, you name it.They consistently do an excellent job on both interior and exterior treatments, and we’ve never had any issues with our pets, which is a huge plus for our family.Our technician, Josh, is outstanding — extremely polite, friendly, and professional. He always does great work and takes the time to make sure everything is handled properly. We genuinely love having Josh as our technician.
UPDATE: Mark called me after two hours of leaving my review. He apologized multiple times and reassured me that my experience was a rare occurrence. He quickly resolved the invoice issues and clarified that the new door seals/sweeps were not 100% more than originally quoted. I appreciate the transparency and the prompt attention to my concerns. I will be keeping my contract with them.11/10/25I'm reviewing several topics related to this company.Quotes and Billing:I was initially quoted for a one-year service agreement. I asked if there was a discount for paying everything up front, and the answer was yes. I received a new quote, but when it was time to pay, it did not reflect the new agreement or a one-time payment upfront. It appears their billing system needs improvement. Please verify your invoice to ensure it is accurate. I still have to call them about it.Secondly, we were quoted for two items (a large garage door and a smaller garage door seal) to prevent rodents from entering our house. The initial quote was prepared by our inspector immediately after our first treatment. However, I sensed something was off because I was quoted the same amount for two measurements that differed significantly. I called the office to clarify. They sent me a new quote for the door that was supposedly incorrect and asked me to ignore the previous one. Honestly, it was all still very confusing because the old/invalid quotes were still accessible via email through a shared link. I can't tell you the number of quotes I have in my email from them. My advice to the company is to find a way to delete or deactivate these quotes to avoid ongoing confusion.After signing the agreement for the door seals, I received a voicemail three days later stating that the quote was inaccurate, so it would be voided. I contacted Marc, who explained that a glitch in their system that day caused the error, and that technicians sometimes forget to include additional expenses. For example, labor was missing from our quote, which caused the total to jump over 105% and more. I told Mark we needed time to make a decision because this was a complete shock. The new quotes still don't make sense. There isn't breakdown of what you're being charged for. They are charging close to similar for both doors that are completely different in size. All of this is making us question the integrity of this company. We are now considering another company to install the two seals.Technician and Supplies to Seal Family House:Lastly, I want to comment on our technician. I thought he was very courteous and thorough. He inspected the exterior and basement, set traps, and sealed entrances and small holes with steel wool. There were other areas needing sealing, but I was told they were too large for the company, meaning I was responsible for buying more steel wool and spray fillers. I found that odd, since the company purchases large quantities wholesale. So, I ended up going to Menards to buy additional supplies ($50). This made me wonder why I am paying nearly $1,000 a year just to buy more supplies to handle the rodent problem. That said, I don’t fault the technician—he was respectful, patient, and kind. Maybe he was trained to do it/respond that way? I still question whether this is the right company for us. We could simply cancel the contract and go with a different provider. The extra fee might be worth it.
