I am rarely one to leave a review—especially a negative one—but I feel it’s important to warn others considering Orkin’s services. This has been an ongoing issue over several months with very limited resolution.This company was recommended to me by someone whose opinion I trust. At the initial scheduled visit, the technician arrived and discussed options for dealing with mice; however, he did not perform the property inspection that Orkin stated would be done. Based on his recommendation, I signed up for a one-year service plan. He placed three bait traps around my property and told me he would return in two weeks to check them.Two weeks came and went, and I did not hear from anyone for nearly two months. When a technician finally returned, he stated that my account had been assigned to someone who was not even licensed to refill the bait traps. During this time, my mouse problem only worsened. Once again, I was told he would return in two weeks to monitor the traps—this did not happen.I had also requested a perimeter spray for my home, which was included in the service package I signed up for. The technician said he would return later that week to complete it. He never showed up and never contacted me.At this point, I contacted head office to explain the situation and requested a refund. The person I communicated with via email was polite and responsive, and the refund was approved quickly. However, I was not informed that it would only be a partial refund. Orkin’s website clearly advertises a satisfaction guarantee or full refund, which is what I expected. Given the extremely limited service provided, I do not feel that being charged over $300 is justified.I was also told that someone from management would be in contact with me, but I have yet to hear from anyone more than a month later. Additionally, Orkin’s bait traps are still sitting on my property, as no one has come to retrieve them.Based on my experience, I will not be using or recommending Orkin to anyone.
Excellent excellent service. Super friendly. I made the appointment. Somebody was able to come out within a couple of days and when they came they took a look at my attic cuz I had mice and they instantly put up craps. They explained what they were doing. Things I can do to help prevent and did a good thorough walk around to let me know where it looked like they were coming in. 100% recommend super professional people and I already have prescheduled appointments for them to come back and check the traps
