Jack, Josh and Dennis get 5 stars! Not only was Orkin responsive and timely when we were vetting companies but also competitive in terms of pricing and the agreement for services. Jack was a pleasure to work with and we were promptly scheduled. Then, on top of that our tenants reached our sharing that “If anybody gets an opportunity to review for Josh and Dennis today can you give the best review? They were super thorough and very friendly. Joe came out to my home to look at a mice problem we have been having and he was fantastic! He found a few entry points, closed them up and we set some traps for the future. He was very knowledgeable and I was very pleased with his service.
I did not receive my 2 hour window yesterday when Orkin would be arriving today. I checked my phone multiple times today only to get a text saying Trevor was on his way then 5 minutes later an arrival text. I had to throw my kids in the car at the preschool playground and speed home because I have two dead mouse on traps inside I would like switched. I also wanted to discuss spraying again to prevent them entering since they are getting inside again. I got home 10 minutes after receiving the arrival text and he was gone. There is not way to have communication with the new Orkin person like I had with my old Orkin person because i do not have his phone or a way to contact him. I called Orkin immediately when I got home to try and catch Tevor to come back but all three times and I got the, “We can not answer right now leave a message.” I’m frustrated I have no direct line to communicate with Trevor in a situation like this when he could have easily waited a couple minutes to take care of my house and family. I now have dead mouse sitting on sticky traps and know it will be a hassle to get Orkin to come back out. I have four kids and a busy schedule so planning my day around Orkin is not easy. I also do not like when I have a new issue I am told, “You will have to call and make an appointment for that…” they should be giving each appointment a decent amount of time to handle any old or new problems. Two years in a row I asked for tick spraying, first time confirmed through a text special and they never called to make the appointment then asked when Orkin was here and was told to call and make an appointment. What if in the timeframe from then to a new appointment one of my four children got a tick and lime disease? They do not make appointments a priority it’s just an empty the traps and go. Im not very satisfied with Orkin anymore now that I do not have Victoria as my Orkin person and no line of communication other than the 1800 number that gets me to pretty much an operator and if this continues will be looking for a new pest control service that wants to take care of my house fully not just check my traps outside and leave in 5 minutes and not handle my new issues while they are here with their truck and equipment. I’m clearly not a priority and for $60 a month totaling $720 a year feel ripped off…. Why do I have make new appointments that work around Orkin when they should be treating my house as a priority and making my life easier not harder.
They came to spray my house with a insecticide that stained my siding that can't be cleaned off. Even though I asked the applicator before he sprayed if it would stain my siding. He said no. Guess he was wrong! Their insurance company will not get back to me to pay for the damage they caused.Worst experience and customer service ever. Do not use this company.
